Trip to Expensive land

I wanted to see the bund riverside properly, ideally over a drink, and read in the guide that there was a hotel with a lovely view over the bund from its top floor bar, I went to the hotel and found the top floor bar, however it was crazy expensive, just to get in cost 100rmb with a 'free' drink, and then any window seat had a cover charge of £160, a lot for one person to drink! 

I stayed for a drink or two and then moved on, not particularly impressed, the view was nice but the overpriced drinks didn't really make it worthwhile, 

I got back to my hotel and there were some fireworks outside which was beautiful, although loud as they went off almost outside the window on the 11th floor!
