So to pick up the story where Nath left off ... I got to spend a relaxing week (I wish) at home just taking it easy, cleaning the house and getting to put pen to paper in the progress of my drawing skills and novel writing... another 2,000 words written :) But sadly the week only started like this ... once it was discovered that one of the two foreigners was still around requests were quickly sent my way and the week descended into complete chaos, even if, though I will admit, it was fun chaos. With visits from students and pleading assistance from our colleagues for help with this that and the other ... so whilst Nath got to explore the misty mountains of avatar, I held the fort. Luckily the week quickly came to a close, I packed up my stuff, got an Apache style hair cut courtesy of a Chinese barber and headed for the train and 'got the hell out of their!' (reference to Rory Bremners Ross Kemp impressions - still makes me laugh when I see it!) At last! On my way to Xiamen to catch up with my amigo and comrad in arms to begin our few days of exploring the Fujian out back ... Tulous! Here we come.... more to follow shortly!
